Karl Froese is the founder and CEO of Prospective Strategies, a managed healthcare consultancy which enables strategic development for payers, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and healthcare providers. He is a champion of change with a passion for transforming the U.S. healthcare experience.

As a strategic advisor and navigator, Karl has helped position his clients for superior market growth, intelligent product design, and improved consumer experience. With deep expertise in Medicare and other government programs, Karl has led health plan and PBM efforts in creating blueprints, developing strategic priorities and solutions for new programs and products. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a thoughtful and trusted advisor with a high degree of integrity.

In previous healthcare leadership positions with UnitedHealthcare and Prime Therapeutics, Karl advanced key development initiatives for various Medicare programs, including Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), Dual Special Needs plans (DSNP), and Employer Group Waiver plans (EGWP). His ability to synthesize market dynamics, business priorities and regulatory constraints have earned him the respect of his clients and colleagues.

Karl holds an honors bachelor's degree in Actuarial and Management Sciences from the University of Manitoba. In addition to serving private industry, he has consulted with non-profit organizations and served on community boards. In his leisure time he enjoys adventure travel, endurance cycling, and the great outdoors, together with his family.
